1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites function correctly, improve performance, and provide information to website operators. Some cookies are set by the website you are visiting ("first-party cookies"), while others are set by third-party services that appear on the page ("third-party cookies").

2. Cookies We Use

TradeGenetix uses a minimal set of cookies. We do not use cookies for advertising, behavioral profiling, or cross-site tracking. The table below describes the cookies our website may set.

3. Cookies We Do Not Use

For clarity, TradeGenetix does not use any of the following:

  • Analytics or performance tracking cookies (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar, Mixpanel)
  • Advertising or remarketing cookies (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight)
  • Social media tracking cookies
  • Cross-site behavioral advertising cookies

If we introduce any of these categories in the future, we will update this Cookie Policy and, where required by law, obtain your consent before activating them.

4. Your Choices

Browser Controls

Most web browsers allow you to manage cookies through their settings. You can typically configure your browser to block all cookies, block third-party cookies, or delete cookies when you close your browser. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent certain features of our website from functioning properly, including the checkout process.

For instructions on managing cookies in common browsers:

  • Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and Other Site Data
  • Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings > Cookies and Site Permissions > Manage and Delete Cookies

Google Fonts

If you prefer to prevent Google from collecting data through font loading, you can use a browser extension that blocks requests to Google domains or configure your browser to block third-party cookies from google.com and googleapis.com. The website will fall back to system fonts if Google Fonts cannot load.

5. Opt-Out Rights

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

TradeGenetix does not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because we do not engage in these practices, there is no need to submit a "Do Not Sell" request. However, if California law changes or if our practices change, we will update this policy and provide an opt-out mechanism as required.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We respect the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and any other applicable privacy law that recognizes this signal.

Do Not Track (DNT)

Our website does not currently use any tracking technologies that respond to browser-level "Do Not Track" signals. Because we do not engage in cross-site tracking, the DNT signal does not change our behavior. We will update this policy if our tracking practices change in the future.

Email Marketing Opt-Out

If you are subscribed to our mailing list, you may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any email or by reaching out through our Contact Us form (select "Privacy / Data Request"). Opt-out requests are processed within ten (10) business days. Opting out of marketing emails does not affect transactional emails related to your purchases (such as order confirmations and refund notifications).

6. Information for European Visitors

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the following applies. Under the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR, strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent. The session cookie and payment processor cookies described above fall into this category and are essential for the website to function. The Google Fonts cookie is classified as functional; if we determine that consent is required for this cookie under applicable European law, we will implement a consent mechanism before it is set. You may exercise your rights under the GDPR (including access, deletion, and objection) as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we begin using new categories of cookies (such as analytics or advertising cookies), we will provide prominent notice and, where required by law, obtain your consent before activating them.

8. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Cookie Policy or wish to exercise any of your opt-out rights, please reach out through our Contact Us form (select "Privacy / Data Request").
